The unit is provided with quality factory installed actuators for both the return air and outside air dampers. Belimo is the preferred vendor for the actuators. All actuators are liberally sized for the torque- ft-lbs required.

The 3-tier hood design allows for maximum surface area for intake air with low pressure drop. In each tier is a 1” aluminum washable filter. All hoods are shipped factory assemble usually in the return section to protect against damage. Each hood is fastened to the unit with stainless steel mounting bolts in lieu of less expensive self-tapping screws

The unit uses machined screws in lieu of lesser quality self-tapping screws. Machined screws will last longer and provide a more rigid assembly.

This picture shows the all-aluminum filter provided with the unit. This is a long lasting filter than can be washed for many years to come. These are easy to remove and do an excellent job of pre -filtration.
